Machapuchhare Model Trek is a very recent innovation of TAAN (Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal) Western Regional Chapter. Its initial exploration and concept was developed in support of the Nepal Tourism Board. This trek offers an alternative route to other short treks and takes you to the closest possible view of Mt. Machhapuchhre.
This exotic trek is developed into two fold models i.e. camping trek as well as village tours with home stay provisions in 7 different villages enroute like Lachok, Ghachok, Machhapuchhre, Ribhan, Lwang Ghalel, Sardikhola and Dhital in Kaski district, thus benefiting more than 16000 local villagers and several communities. The trail offers you enchanting views of mountain ranges, rich vegetation along with the culture and lifestyles of the ethnic dwellers.
